Congressman Clyburn Announces Millions in Continuum of Care Awards for South Carolina

(Columbia, SC) –South Carolina Congressman James E. The CoC Program is designed to promote a communitywide commitment to the goal of ending homelessness by providing funding for efforts by nonprofits, and State and local governments to quickly rehouse homeless individuals and families.   The programs also promote access to and effect utilization of mainstream programs by homeless individuals and families.

“I am happy to announce the outstanding investment HUD is making in the state of South Carolina to help find a solution to end homelessness in our state,” Congressman Clyburn said.  “This is an important issue that cannot be ignored and with funds to help individuals and families experiencing this situation, I hope these organizations will be able to offer a solution focused approach to finding an end to homelessness in our state.
