NOTICE OF PUBLIC MEETING
Proposed Reconstruction Era National Monument
Please join Congressman James E. Clyburn for a public meeting regarding the proposal to establish a new unit of the National Park System to tell the story of Reconstruction. Federal officials will listen to input from the public on the monument proposal which could include the designation of Penn Center, Brick Baptist Church, the Camp Saxton-Emancipation Oak site, the Robert Smalls House, and the Old Beaufort Firehouse.
