“It is with deep sorrow that I learned of the disaster in Japan this morning.  I extend my sincerest thoughts, prayers, and condolences during this challenging time of response and recovery.  The people of Japan have the full support of Congress and the American people, and we stand ready to do all we can to assist them.”
