Community Project Funding Requests FY24
DEADLINE: CLOSED
The House Appropriations Committee announced it will accept requests for community project funding (CPF), commonly referred to as earmarks, for the Fiscal Year 2024 appropriations process. Through the CPF program, Members of Congress – who know their districts best – are able to request direct funding for specific projects in their districts.
Each Member of the House may only submit a total of 15 CPF requests across all subcommittees. The House will consider requests for 7 of the 12 Committees. Therefore, our office will not be able to accommodate every request we receive, even though we anticipate receiving requests for many worthy projects. The deadline for project submission to my office is Friday, March 17, 2023.
Only eligible CPF requests that meet all the guidelines established by the Committee will be accepted. For example, the Committee will only consider projects with demonstrated community support. Only state and local government entities and non-profit entities are eligible to receive funding. Additionally, funding must be for Fiscal Year 2024 only and cannot include multi-year funding.
We will NOT process late or incomplete requests. If you have a question about our request form or whether your project request fits into one of the accounts below, please contact our office at 202-225-3315.
More informationon the process can be found on the Appropriations Committee's page here.
Failure to submit all required information will result in an incomplete project request. Incomplete project requests cannot not be submitted to the Appropriations Committee for consideration for Community Project Funding.
